Your Dentist: Dr Christopher Potter

Dr. Christopher Potter studied Dentistry (B.D.S) at the University of Adelaide and graduated in 1983. He spent his early years working in Broken Hill NSW at the Base Hospital with the RFDS Flying Doctors.

In later years, he expanded to private practice in Adelaide where he undertook further postgraduate study in both crown and bridge restorations including implantology courses with Dr Peter Hawker.

More recently he has attended numerous ‘cosmetic’ courses run by the ADA continuing education centre. He has advanced skills in preparation and placement of the new UltraThin ceramic Veneers, All Porcelain Zirconium Crowns and Bridges particulary when involving Titanium Implants.

As a volunteer, Dr Potter has visited areas of need and focused upon Oral Health education in schools of East African communities based from Dar ES Salaam. He regularly promotes the benefits of oral health education and instruction in oral hygiene with thanks to Colgate for the provision of numerous free samples of brushes and toothpaste for these children.
